The company charged me $200 to get a certified death certificate from Mexico. They sent me something that can not be used. It is such a rip off company. Don't waste you time or money on them.

We had a good experience with Berenice. When you are dealing with latin america, you have to expect some struggles along the way as far as timeframes go. She has responsive customer service. Although, we did not get our stuff in the exact time frame, it was still reasonable, especially since it was over a holiday week, which slowed things down. I don't see that as a downfall, because it's not like they weren't trying, but you as the consumer should not wait until the last minute and should expect some hangups in this process. She sent it next day mail after they had received everything. We started March 15 and everything was received by April 7. For reference to those trying to figure things out, this was for birth certificates/death certificates for two individuals with documents in two different Mexican states. It was only a few business days out of the 7-9 day timeframe I was given. I would use them again and would recommend them to anyone.

Excellent Response, Though they weren't able to locate the record (we expected as much), they gave lots of helpful information and refunded my payment, less the search fee. I was worried this site wasn't legitimate at first but I would recommend to others based on my experience.

I was skeptical at first but went ahead and ordered my birth certificate from the company. I recieved confirmation right away from Berenice and it only took 5 days to receive my certificate in the mailbox. I highly recommend this place!!

I needed a certified copy of a marriage license from Mexico (we are both U.S. citizens) from 18 years ago. The Jalisco Mexican government website wasn’t working and the phone number was no longer valid. I was very skeptical about using Acta America mostly because so few reviews. I was happy to see they use Pay Pal. I received my certified legal document within 7 days and couldn’t be happier. Such a relief!

She spoke Spanish and English . She helped my friend find the death certificate and sent it within a 2 days. I highly recommend

I was definitely skeptical if this was a legitimate business that was actually going to provide me with what I needed but they came through big time. I emailed them to check status after a few days of making my purchase and I received a reply within a few minutes. I was informed that they had found what I was needing and assured I'd be receiving it within the following week and I did! Super pleased!

Started the process of obtaining my birth certificate on Jan 31...Berenice Quinones indicated it took 5-7 business days...therefore, I assumes I'd have it in time for an appointment for my sentri pass...Well...2/15 still no certificate and no mail until Tuesday! My appointment is Wednesday at 7:00am...Now I'll have to reschedule for 2 months out which is the soonest available! I asked her to send it UPS due to the holiday and she refused. DO NOT USE THEM! You're better off going to the consulate and paying $18.00..only downfall is a 2 hour wait BUT it's better than 2 weeks!
