Mike Farro is probably the best attorney in the area, and his prices reflect that. But if you need the best, it's worth it. Office is small and kind of dingy, usually needs vacuuming and dusting, doesn't really represent the kind of service you will get. But if you are in a legal bind, the condition of the office is small potatoes compared to the results you will get. He is no nonsense and will only take on your case if he can win it for you. I've used his services for family law several times in the last three years (unfortunately,) but through Michael Farro we have won every single time.

I contacted this office for help with my particular situation, and the lady that answered the phone seemed like she had no personality, she told me we do not handle that type of situation and do not have anyone to refer you to thank you and pretty much hung up, oh she may have said good luck, but her personality could use a little more companion in it, get that they do not handle my type of claim, but be a little nicer on the phone you are the first point of contact to a company and that just did not sound real nice. Good luck to you talking to people like that.

This firm represents my soon to be ex wife. From the beginning I knew that I had messed up and the marriage falling apart was my fault. I was willing to concede on all accounts. This guy manipulates people. He talked her into not negotiating and told her that the initial petition would cost to much to
Change into a consent decree. Then filed so much crap with the court that I had to lawyer up. Once I did he had so much useless correspondence that it drained her retainer and she ended up paying more. By the end he realized that he had tapped out that source of income and realized what I made a month and reconsidered the deal. We are still waiting on him to draft paperwork that should have been completed month ago and every time he answers the phone to claim that he's busy and hasn't had time he charges her. Sure he may have never lost a case but I can guarantee his clients have. I'd recommend Bays law over this arrogant thief.

Mike and his staff are top notch! He is a bulldog that will get positive results. I will never choose any other attorney in SV. He was able to keep my kids from a toxic parent. This man is unmatched locally.

When my ex-wife and I divorced we decided to split everything 50/50, time with our children and also all their bills. After five years of this working fine, she took me to court to try and relocate to another state where her new husband was from. If that was denied, she wanted primary custody and also a few other things, lawyer fees etc. I talked with Mike about the case and decided to go with him. I had read a couple of reviews, some good and some not so good. Mike was definitely more expensive than the other attorneys I had looked into. My ex had Bays as her attorney. I was extremely nervous for our big day in court, not to mention Bays has some great reviews. We had our day and Mike did an amazing job. At no point during our day in court did I question what I had paid him. It was a great feeling to know that he was on my team. I walked out after a full day in court smiling ear to ear. There was no real change to our parenting time and I still get to be with my daughters half the time.

I can't say enough good things about not only Mike but also his staff, Carissa and Teri. All of them are very professional. They always kept me well-informed and updated me right away on any changes. There was no comparing the two attorneys that day in court. They where clearly on different playing fields.

He is stern, honest, and smart.
I have had other lawyers for my own cases that wasted time, made messes of my case, continued to charge me for their delays and actually helped the opposing party because of their inept and dishonest behavior. I ended up firing them and representing myself.
