I Was Referred To Daniel By Another Law Firm . He Is Very Professional And Works In A Timely Matter. I Would Definitely Recommend Him To Others

No star whatsoever. I had to give him a star just because the review requires to give at least one star in order to post. I have been served with correspondence from him that can not be considered to be a professional. The correspondence from this attorney sounds like a treat made by some cheap blackmailer. Getting himself involved in matter that is beyond his knowledge, just to make some money, no matter if it is a completely lost case, is at least unprofessional. Good like to whoever decides to retain this individual. Sorry, can not refer to him as an attorney. In my opinion this person does not deserve to be called a lawyer.

Horrible lawyer, I started with one lawyer and then got bounced around between three different lawyers in his office. I started my case it 2014 it should be done and over with. The agreement regarding prices and what I would be charged was never followed. I was way over charged and they want more money for me to even set a court date when I have been told that I just had one flat rate to pay and I would be done. I am now about 6k in the hole with nothing done with my case still. Do not go to them they just want your money not to help you out.

Google reviews is actually how I found Copeland Law. I reside in Ohio and needed help with a custody "battle" in Jacksonville. Copeland was one of 3 attorney offices I reached out to based on the reviews. The other 2 offices had decent reviews but when I called I felt like a number to them and was unable to speak with someone other than a secretary without setting an appointment (I understand lawyers are busy). When I called the Copeland office I was immediately transferred to Dan. I explained my situation to him and he walked me through the process in plain English so I could understand what to expect, never over promising unrealistic potential outcomes. I was fully aware of what I was getting myself in to. From what everyone thinks and hears I wasn't sure a dad had a stone throws chance at winning custody case.....

After we agreed on terms, Dan attacked the case at full speed. Keeping me in loop as much as needed so I wouldn't worry. I spoke numerous times with Dan and Ashley and always felt like I was high priority.

Dan even showed me some of the correspondences between his office and my Ex's attorney. I have to say... he's no push over and wasn't afraid to call their bluff. At this point I knew I had the right guy.

After all.... he won my case and my son has been relocated to Ohio. I would highly recommend Dan and his staff. If you are looking for someone that wont back down or be pushed around... Dan's your guy.

Never even returned my phone calls for a consultation. And yes, it was regarding their area of law. The fact that their response is "Yes, we do respond to inquiries" and we don't recognize your online account name so oh well... That says it all. How unprofessional and unaccountable. I am very glad they never called me back at this point. I definitely dodged a bullet with this attorney's office. Good luck with your rude and careless attitude towards potential clients. I hope you can come up with better excuses in the future.

Ethical, and honest, this man does everything in his power to provide his clients with a favorable outcome. One MUST realize the wheels of law grind slowly and that not Dan's fault. Truly a bull dog of an attorney.

I am only giving this guy 1 star because he is a horrible lawyer. He first told us we had a good case against the ex and would only be charged around $3,000.00. After a year and a half later, and $9,000.00 nothing has been resolved and I am still sitting at square one. He does not return phone calls, does not respond to emails, charges his clients money to file forms that will eventually have to be disclosed anyways. He is a thief. This is why lawyers have a bad name. Do yourself a favor, find a different lawyer for you legal needs.

I would highly recommend Mr & Mrs Copeland for any needs you may have that would require you to attain legal representation. Just horrible, plain horrible. He's a disgusting pig who wants to eat up all of your money and do absolutely nothing that he agreed with during consultation..and wants to e-mail you correspondence, a letter, instead of calling you, with what he thinks and is going to do, etc and charges $275 for the correspondence letter, when it could have easily been told to you during a 10 min phone conversation. He just lies and lies and tries to do what benefits him money wise and could not care any less about benefiting his clients. Stay away.
