The intake specialist, Paula, did a very poor job listening. She rushed me through my explanation of what happened and by doing so she missed important details that make my case. My advice, always get a second opinion because the details matter. Don't let someone rush you through what happened to you. If they do, they are not the people to represent you as was my experience here.

Says they help with slip and fall, but don't when it is a tenant slipping and falling off a roof. Also gives you bad referrals to others that don't even help you. This law firm sucks. Find someone else!

I'm sorry, but I saw on the web where a Peter Linton Smith was acting lead attorney on a case and was encouraging possible clients to contact him. I had a personal interest myself and before contacting him, I checked him out first. He works at this firm, but is not an attorney. Nor is he listed as a paralegal. I just have to question how you can let one of your own misrepresent himself and your firm?

Ambulance chasers! That is all they are. They say they have labor lawyers, but they give you a questionnaire, and after that they say we will get back to you. You have to call them, like I did 3 weeks later only for them to email you saying they will not take your case. I have screen shots, medical paper work copys and on top of that fired after my workmens compensation was over. They also did not want me to come in for a cosultation to at least show them all the paperwork I had.
It is true, especially with this firm, lawyers only care about the $$ and nothing else. If you get whiplash from being rear ended, you are good to go though!

I was referred to the office of Whittle&Melton Law office by a respected friend. When I called to make an appointment the receptionist was very courteous and professional. The next day when I arrived at the office I was greeted very cordially. It was a professional yet very comfortable atmosphere. I was offered bottle water coffee and soft drinks while waiting. Within only a few minutes wait I was led to a very nice grand meeting room where I had the pleasure of meeting Mr Jason Melton the Attorney and his paralegal assistant in person. Mr Melton was very cordial and compassionate to my complaints. He kindly took plenty of time and listened to all the details of my issues. From there on everything was handled by Mr Melton's office on my behalf. The outcome of my lawsuit was much better than I expected and I received a much bigger compensation check than I had asked for. I want to thank Mr Jason Melton for the great job done on my behalf. They worked tirelessly to get the most for my settlement. They staied on top of the debtors and even worked with us to get the insurance companies to finalize their Bill's. We got more from our settlement than we had expected. My experience with Whittel & Melton was for an auto accident. Mark came right to our residence to do the intake. He was very knowledgeable. He answered all our questions that we had that day. He also helped refer the right doctors for our injuries. Mary Kay and Lisa always answered the phone professionally and pleasant. Attorney Tracee Ivins handled my case with assistance from Janeth L.. You ladies are the best. You both seem very passionate about what you do. And today that means alot. You ladies made the situation easier then expected. Poor communications between client and attorney. The attorney Jeremy promises updates on your case and can’t return a phone call. I made the worst choice in picking this firm. Maybe they’re good with slip and falls... For criminal defense, your honestly better with the Public defenders office. They at least give you a update each month. Not waiting for 3 months sitting in jail for updates!!

I think attorneys are often viewed as only being in it for the money. Will Sheslow clearly does not fit that stereotype. While the opportunity to drag this case out by way of actual litigation existed (thereby putting more money in the pockets of the law firm), Will was genuinely interested in the easiest and fastest way to get me the justice we both felt I deserved. From the beginning, he showed sincere care that I had been taken advantage of and confidently walked me through what may or may not happen - realistic yet positive. As the case progressed, it became more and more obvious that his guidance was wise to follow, and the results found me very glad I did. In relatively short order, I was compensated and gratified to have been able to put all my concerns in Will's hands. He delivered the best possible outcome, all things considered, and I would happily recommend him to others in my situation.

This was the first time that I needed to use a law firm and I was very happy with my choice, Whittel & Melton, for my workers comp case! I talked to other firms before choosing Whittel & Melton but it was the way they first interviewed me that sold me. Attorney Chris K and Prudence were assigned to my case and since this was my first experience in a matter like this, they were patient in explaining the legal process and the best and worst case scenarios, without “sugar coating” anything. We had a difficult case where the other firm was not responding to requests and Attorney Chris K kept the pressure on them and even had to file motions to get them to respond. In the end, I think we got the best settlement possible.
God forbid that I am in a position to need a law firm again, but if I did I would not hesitate to make Whittel & Melton my first call and choice!
