Works hard for you until the end ,if it takes to long, time to settle. Took what the insurance company would offer his suggestion was I get a job even though I was never healed. Don told me to settle because Judge Pitts told him I would not be successful on my case. .The expert witness on my behalf should have been Jerry she was the best but Don gave her to the the other side. He said he'd mentioned her to the other side how good she was so they got her first. They just all work together.

Fantastic worker's compensation lawyer!

I got injured at work severally and could not work anymore. First off the workers comp doctor said I had bulging disc in my lower back which turned out to be embedded tumors in my back. Go mediation and didn’t know that Van Dingenen and the companies attorney were friends. After taking the settlement that he advised was for far less than it should have. There were all working together. They low balled me. Then on top of all of that as we were all walking out together they decided to go to lunch together. Wow they screwed me. I would rate them lower but cant. Please be aware

Would recommend this law firm with all my heart. They were unbelievable!! Mr. Van Dingenen was extremely aggressive in pursing the insurance company and forcing them to provide all the benefits my husband was entitled to. He did not take no for an answer and his staff was also very helpful. God forbid if my husband or myself was ever hurt at work again we would call this law firm. I doubt that any other lawyers would have been able to do such a good job with my husbands case. we were both very nervous hiring a lawyer at first but all of those nerves went away when we saw how helpful mr van dingenen was. if i could give more than 5 stars i would and so would my husband.

Would not recommend them! He told my husband that he would get well over 3 figures in compensation. $1.28 was not what we expected. Between Van Dingenen Law and his buddy at workers comp, my husband suffered over a year waiting for needed surgery. By the time it went to final settlement, it was much less than promised because my husband became of retirement age which should not have became a factor. One of the two surgeries failed because they took too long to approve it, again I blame the Law firm because no one kept up on it and pushed it threw. We were required to travel several times out of town for meetings we were not allowed to attend. Our lawyer and the attorney for the workers comp played with their new watches and diving knives instead. At the final meeting our lawyer talked to us like we were stupid illiterate people.
He was told by the Judge whom we never saw to pay a certain amount which he didn't do.
We would never recommend him to anyone!

Mr vandigenen did a good job. I've read other reviews and it seems like everyone gets lowballed because he knows the defense personally, I feel the same way. I've seen the receptionist call a client to tell them that their check was ready, why is a receptionist handling sensitive material like that? I don't want her to see what I am being paid. It makes you wonder how long your check has really been there at the office.

My son had a workers compensation case with this firm and it was amazing. I have been part of other lawsuits but i have never seen a firm do as good of a job. they were prompt getting back to my son ever time he had a question about his case. they were able to help him get all of his medical treatment and they were also able to get a large settlement for my son to help pay for his future. even though i was not a part of this law suit, i can safely say that van dingenen law is the way to go if you have been injured on the job. My husband got a permanent injury to his spine on his job on October 2017. V.D. was the first and ONLY workers comp. Law firm he chose to represent him. (Bad Decision) He was treated unfair, not knowing that V.D. was a close friend of the other lawyer. Mr. Van Dingenen, did not have his best interests and was not concerned that back injuries are not curable. After the mediation which he was unable to attend, and a enforcement hearing, which was the first time Van Dingenen met my husband. He said “I don’t know anything about your case, so Mr. Blaze will testify. NOT TRUE. They were more concerned with paperwork than, The pain he endures on a daily basis. In the end $4,025 is all his case and injury was worth. I would never recommend them, or have them represent my family or friends. Chose wisely is my opinion.

Poor service. Was told in Beginning had strong case. Our attorney left 3/4 way through, took job at M&M. Mr. V.D. took over, told husband if he wanted to keep his job he couldn't take a settlement. Was told no options, and he stated work comp offered husband $750.00, either take it and be out of a job, or walk way and keep job. That's it. He wouldn't even counter offer. Told husband to walk way and drop case. Husband still has issues. Was told workers comp would pay medical bills, totally false. Got several thousand dollars of bills they denied. Husband and I both got bad gut feelings that Mr V.D. had agreement with Work Comp attorney and favored with them for personal gain. No proof. 2 people at my husband's work got hurt, one worse, one less, and both were able to get settlement and keep job. One got $45,000K one got $240,000K. One got an easier assignment at work, one left after 5 months because of personal reasons. It was a lie that he had to drop case and have no settlement to keep job. I give 0 star rating. Crooked.

My husband got injured at his employer back in Sept 2018 . Workers comp company was a joke ,didn't pay him and was overall a joke. Had no choice but to get attoenat involved . So I went on a whole bunch of attorney's web site and submitted his information and Tood minor called us back and explained everything and referred him to partner or secondary attorney's who only work with this type of cases. Now the process was rough with my husband still not getting any pay thru workers comp or any related important medical services for his injury . Then finally they said surgery's was needed . So my husband who is type 2 declined because unfortunately in these types of cases you can't involved your own personal doctor who in fact knows your history . Fast forward my husband went to the required deposition then 1 month or so later the mediation that where we finally saw van Dingenen all in the above process my husband was dealing with Blase Schwartz. So we attend the mediation on a March 8 he discuss all that will happen and what my husband wants to do we just wanted to be over so we can move on he settled. Now in front of myself ,husband and the legal representation stated that the process will be done in 3 weeks or less . This was done and sign in March 8 ,so he we are in April 12 no check no money nothing . All my husband is getting the run around from Blase and the reception who just lies for him . A lot of unanswered emails and phone calls . All we keep hearing is the judge has to sign it and hasn't , unfortunately you have the worst judge to handle this . So we requested an email to the judge . Like we have been doing with one salary for 8 months . Why are they so insensitive to us? I understand we aren't a priority any more you probably got your fees and so how would this law firm ever understand how this affects innocent people .

My experience with this law firm is not great at all. When I went in for mediation Van Dingenen basically told me because I'm injured and still have problems from breaking my ankle in half at work that I should now start using my Brain. My settlement which is not very much will continue to pay the doctor bills Im going to have, to fix my ankle properly. I still have no money to pay my bills as I've been out of work for almost a year. It was an insult to me to tell me to start using my Brain. I use my Brain everyday, and the days I worked as a server! I made about $800.00 a week doing this and now I can't even do that. Basically I was told when your body is giving out its time to use your Brain. I'm still not working and basically I'm now screwed to deal with this issue alone. This law firm is not very professional and i would never refer them to anyone. They just want your money and that's it! And here we are on 12/7/2017 coming up on my 4th surgery for the same problem that this lawyer made me settle because there was nothing more that could be done for my situation. As a single mother I’ve have now paid for 3 surgeries out of my own pocket for something someone should have been paying for this entire time. Thanks to this Law office I’m now in debt and trying to keep my head above water to care for my six year old son. Thanks for messing up my life more to make 5000 bucks You’re an awful person Van!! Funny how I have doctors saying this case should have NEVER BEEN SETTLED.

I cannot give this firm more than a one star because they did nothing on my behalf. I travel extensively with my job and told them at the onset of my time sensitivity needs. When I followed up with them after an extended period of no communication, they claimed they needed info from me, ie ss#, and very basic info they could have received from a simple OUTGOING phone call. The staff sounds young, and are clearly inexperienced. They seem to have no concern nor basic follow up skills. Good luck to you though.

This guy is totally awesome. He knows the law and takes the time necessary to understand your situation. This ARMS him with the necessary facts in tandum with his experience and understanding of the law to maximize the financial settlement of your case. My situation took about seven (7) months from start to finish. And my employer contested my claim. Now, one thing I didn't do was bug him. I don't believe that I ever contacted his office unless they contacted me first. He has a small practice and he gets it done. BTW He did attempt a pie-in-the-sky-settlement. But we fell back to a reasonable settlement figure. But, he did try. You have to be realistic. I believe that my settlement was just. Just a little bit short. But it was acceptable. Particularly when I took the money and bought 1000 shares of Apple Stock for $300.00 a share. I sold it six months later for $576.00.
