CAIR is a national civil rights organization who keeps an eye on abuses of authority, systemic violations of laws and regulations protecting human rights, Constitutional rights, and freedoms. The organization engages in interfaith dialogue with people who practice the other Abrahamic religions of Judaism and Christianity. The goal is to keep and maintain the integrity of our checks and balances systems and not allow abuses and persecution to thrive. Persecution, hate, racism, and discrimination based on ethnicity, religious beliefs, gender, age, disability, and race goes against fundamental American values as set forth by our Founders who fled persecution and prosecution by the King of England and elsewhere. To spread hate and persecution is un-American.
