My Wife and I went to New Orleans for spring vacation to spend time with some family who was in the area and have some Drinks on Bourbon St. It was an enjoyable time until we found out how crooked NOLA PD cant be. Long story My wife got a battery charge and public intoxication, and I wasn't leaving her alone with the cops so they charged me with interfering with a police investigation.She just taped the cop on the arm to get his attention and they charged her she is no criminal. When our vacation was coming to a close we decided to drive back to Wisconsin. We had the decision to make either we drive back down to go to court just to plea guilty or not. At that point we tried to talk the courts in to letting us take care of this over the phone, ya right that wasn't happening. So we sought out legal advice.
