After experiencing unexpected 2 feet of flooding and the loss of all contents and autos with our 1 story home, there was much confusion and debate over how an area not designated as a flood zone was actually intentionally flooded by the Corp of Engineers. There was never clear communication nor explanation of the pending consequences to the upstream residents by releasing the flood control gates of the barker reservoir.

All this added insult and the feeling of betrayal from our Government. Our community sought credible local legal representation with integrity and sincerity to uplift both our hope and spirits in efforts toward restitution for seizing property and possessions without consent.
