On December 15, 2016, George B. Tennant Jr. [#24042016], 48, of Houston, accepted a 15-month fully probated suspension effective January 1, 2017. An evidentiary panel of the District 4 Grievance Committee found that in one matter, Tennant neglected the legal matter entrusted to him, failed to promptly comply with reasonable requests for information from the client, and failed to refund advance payments of fees that had not been earned. Tennant also failed to timely furnish to the Office of Chief Disciplinary Counsel a response or other information as required by the Texas Rules of Disciplinary Procedure. In a second matter, Tennant failed to timely refund advance payments of fees that had not been earned. Tennant violated Rules 1.01(b)(1), 1.03(a), 1.15(d), and 8.04(a)(8). He was ordered to pay $1,500 in restitution and $1,000 in attorneys’ fees and direct expenses.

This "attorney" is a scam artist. He will take your $ and you'll never see him or the $ again. He didn't show for court, wont answer emails, text, or phone calls. He's also currently on a probated suspension for this exact same thing. If i could put zero stars i would. I'm currently filing a grievance with the board and in contact with a malpractice lawyer. DO NOT contact this so-called "attorney"!! This other review by "Attorney Tennant" is from this guy himself!
Edit: Sir, you are a liar. You had ONE jail visit to have him sign the contract and didn't show up for court at ALL. You are the one who said you couldn't do anything else and wouldn't be moving forward with the case. I did contact formal channels because I got tired of your delay tactics and refusal to answer. One day you asked me to meet you for my refund; I waited two hours with my child in a parking lot.

Lawyer Tenet took my sons case after I had paid a lawyer to do nothing. He told us don't worry. I thank God every day for sending him to us. A jury found my son not guilty!
