Marc was extremely helpful during my divorce and got it done as painless as possible. My now ex and her lawyer kept filling frivolous motions and ridiculous request that Marc was able to control. He is well liked by the judges who really listen to our side thanks to his integrity. I wish I could have meet Marc under different circumstances. I will hire him again and keep using his services in the future.

I hired Marc at the beginning of 2018 to help with divorce proceedings between myself and my [now] ex-husband. It was a very clear-cut, non contentious divorce that should’ve taken 3 months MAX and could’ve been done sans lawyer - but I didn’t want to deal with the paperwork headache. So I paid a $4,000 retainer with the assurance that we would NOT exceed that amount unless it turned into a battle that went to court. Well, we never went to court and were in agreement every step of the way, yet Marc is now trying to charge additional funds after the divorce took 8 months due to HIS disinterest in the case. This lack of attentiveness led to MULTIPLE, repeated mistakes that should’ve never occurred because the majority of the divorce - including the parenting plan, division of property / debts and other miscellaneous details - had all been laid out by myself at the very beginning.

Every time these mistakes were brought to his attention, with a gentle reminder for him to “refer to the original paperwork” - I was charged for him to make the corrections. I was told numerous times that certain paperwork or filings were already completed - then weeks or even months later, was surprised to hear that he was still working on those same items and you guessed it - being charged for them again. More than once, I sat in his office for appointments where he went over details that we had ALREADY ADDRESSED and reviewed in previous meetings - which was once again, a clear opportunity to double-charge me. I even had to ask for corrections on the child support order 3 different times (!!) - when I kept pointing out that the amounts were “off” compared to what I had determined in my own calculations.

If I could give a zero, I would. Perhaps he was a good lawyer in the past, or is better with other areas of law - but when it came to a simple divorce, he was incredibly incompetent and expressed NO sense of urgency. In all honesty, his secretary was the only reason anything got done. Maybe I might’ve had a better experience if I was one of his “bigger ticket” clients - but unless you want to be exorbitantly charged for extreme lack of detail and disregard for your case, heed my advice and take your legal matters elsewhere!

I highly recommend Marc for your legal needs. Marc represented me in a recent divorce. From the first meeting when I met him he helped me through a very trying time in my life. When it came to the legal parts of the divorce Marc was very knowledgeable and helped move the proceedings along very smoothly. Marc was very concerned that I was protected and that I received all that was due to me. If you need legal help Marc is definitely the person I would go to.
