Patty Guzman is the most rude woman I have ever had the displeasure of speaking with. I would avoid this place simply due to her terrible attitude and complete lack of manners.

This office is not bad. Dee Tang is super nice. I called she helped me understand what was going on. Talked me through options. It wasn't as painful as I thought it would be. The receptionist on the other hand was very rude, could not transfer a call to save her life and has a serious attitude problem. She is the reason for the missing additional star. If I could alone giver her negative stars I would. Just very rude. Call in with a name of a person if you have to call this office.

I can’t begin to describe the lengths in which Lu Kaleikau went to assist me in preparing my will. The depth she went in explaining every step of the process was incredibly helpful. I came back and got additional counsel on an employment issue which she worked tirelessly to resolve. I’d highly recommend Lu for anyone in need of sound legal counsel.

I find it suspect that a big named company like Camden uses this firm, judging by all the negative reviews here. J. Hunter or whatever his name is tries to tell me I have to go through him for all communication and can’t even speak with my apartment office. He never replies to emails in a timely manner, and the letter he sent me with alleged lease violations was pulling for straws at best. They seem like quacks, but Camden Properties uses them? I also find it very interesting that his assistant Erica C. also lives at Camden Plaza and left a five star review on their Yelp page. Shady relationships?

This rating is not based on the actual potential lawsuit I'm involved in, since this Law Office is just trying to do their job. It is solely based on the quality of the service.
We've been contacted by this company representing our former apartment complex, and they obviously didn't even read our lease before contacting us, nor even knew when we had actually left the place.
Make sure to contact your closest Tenants' Council since Hoover Slovacek don't really seem to know what is legal or not.
Since they wrote us, we've responded in a very timely manner and have spent most of the time awaiting their responses.
The front desk staff is absolutely terrible and literally hang up on you before you thank them for their time and say goodbye.

Paralegal Sandra Flanders was very rude, started yelling and raising her voice when I simply asked for paperwork and documentation. She promised to emailed statement within 24 hours and I never received. They are a debt collector, but yet I am the one who is chasing them 3 straight days already! Quite ridiculous!

Bret Rycroft and Company have always been very informative and thorough with any processes that our Company has had. They are honest and integral with their work. Thank you to Hoover Slovacek and team for always being helpful!

Lu Kaleikau is amazing. After my mom had a stroke, HR at her work did a horrible job giving her info on what she was entitled to with disability and accommodations. Lu went out of her way to answer any questions that I had so I could help my mom out. She is hardworking, trustworthy, and really knows her stuff.

If there was a zero star option I would choose it. Paralegal has the worst attitude I have ever dealt with. Received a letter that said to call if we had any questions, and then she refused to answer the phone. She traded a few emails but still would not answer the question, after they contacted me first!

They are definitely stressed out. Not bad people, but overworked and not appreciated. Over a period of five years I've had to contact them to correct some paperwork errors a few times (the errors were not theirs but another parties). Every time they jump down my throat and are very defensive (pun intended). It cannot be healthy to work in that environment. Slovacek should take better care of his people. Read a book or two on leadership. Your people should not consistently feel this way.

Horrible customer service the paralegals are rude and unhelpful. My account was transferred to them and when I tried to handle the matter I left a message to the person I was transferred to by the receptionist. I did not get a call back!!! Then I received another notice with a higher amount and when I tried to inform them that I called and left a message I was told I should of e-mailed and that they don't have any voicemails from me. I would not be so defensive if I hadn't reached out . But the fact that now I'm being treated like a lier is very irritating! Do not use them for any services find someone that has better customer service!

Couldn’t ask for better representation than with this firm. Patrick Drake and Terry Sealey know the law inside and out and will make you feel at ease in the courtroom. These gentleman and their associates are first class and much appreciated by my business.

Spoke with them on the phone regarding a property matter and was given direction. I had to contact them again over the matter and was met on the phone with a crass hostile paralegal that gave me conflicting information. I went in person to the firm and spoke with another woman there and was verbally told that some of the employees don't know the policies of the firm and weren't informed enough to give information. However, they were giving information. Seems that no one that works here is on the same page and the girl in the office even admitted to me that she has heard multiple complaints about one of the paralegals poor attitude while working there. If this is how their office operates I seriously question their efficacy in court. One employee in this firm gave me conflicting information to another employees, and it cost ME money. They had an extremely cavalier attitude about this situation and handled the matter very un-professionally. I was not at all impressed with the lack of team cohesion, lack of professionalism, and lack of common courtesy in this firm.
