I should give 5 stars for his dissappointing representation of my child’s father that resulted in my favor. He took my ex’s money , which he could have paid toward his arrears. He did absolutely nothing for him, I was there unrepresented and the judge gave me exactly what I requested.

This guy is a prick. Conman. Dirty. Tacky. Unorganized. Partially illiterate. Easily confused. Don’t hire this guy. Better to spend more money

Maurice represented us for several months in a family law matter. He always seemed like he wasn't familiar with the basics of the case. Plus he was pushing to compromise with the other party although they had no legal basis for ANY of their claims. My husband ended up doing a lot of case law research for him because Maurice was so unprepared. After an unprofessional performance in a procedural hearing we ended up firing him and hiring a much better attorney. The case worked out completely in our favor, but that was in spite of Maurice's poor representation.

First - I have known Mr. Anthony before he was an attorney. He has always exhibited an outstanding work ethic and spirit of excellence when it comes to people. He is honest and thorough. Upon needing his services some years ago, I found myself hesitant to allow a high school teammate into my personal business. He assured me this was a professional relationship and that he was there to serve me and not judge me. Soon after I was full of hope and captivated by his ability to work the courtroom like a choreographer does dance. He made things work in my favor and when it was all said and done, I felt like a champ. Mr. Anthony took what could have been a defeat and made it a clear cut victory. That was my experience. Not to mention, you get what you pay for. And he was well worth the cost.

Extremely professional. Helped me with a very messy divorce. He is really an attorney for the people. Very affordable and good. Regarding some comments about missed calls. He says he keeps fees down by not having a secretary. People looking for a good affordable attorney should call this lawyer, if you want to pay triple the price and sit in a fancy office pay more and still get the same or poorer service. We did my divorce basically at Starbucks for a 1/3 of what I had already paid another attorney who was dragging his feet. I am just so grateful that I found Mr. Anthony. Now I am free and not broke.

He doesnt answer phone calls. Hardly ever calls back and doesnt acknowledge text messages. Frustrating.

So at first I thought it was a scam because I get this call from Attorney Maurice Anthony stating he was an attorney and could get my non contested divorce case before a judge and handled immediately. He explained that the San Antonio court system was majorly delayed for non contested divorces like mine and what was suppose to only take 61 days is not taking 4-6 months before being given a court date which was exactly my situation. I had been waiting 3 months already with no date in sight for court date for the judge to grant my divorce, and since offered to accept payment till after he had done everything he said he would do, I figured what did I have to loose to be rid of this mistake of a marriage. So I called him back providing him with the necessary information and two days later, Hallelujah I was divorced and I am a very happy and satisfied client. So if you get a call, and just like me I thought it was to good to be true, he really can and will get your divorce before a judge and handled ASAP...I couldn't be a happier and satisfied with Attorney Maurice Anthony

My experience was much the same as the lady below. However, I found his behavior very inappropriate which could legally have him disbarred. I was emotionally violated then he still wanted more money. Then poorly represented me. He would show to court unprepared and having poor hygiene. I also, must state the person below was correct!!! His phone was never answered. I am still considering addressing the State Bar Association. I lost something irreplaceable
... Due to his constant desire for money as a single mother I did not have. When in fact he should have been working for free considering his misappropriate behavior, that broke me emotionally. I was unable to even clearly think out my actions due to this factor. If you are considering him as an attorney please be advised, he is unprofessional, hardly reachable, unprepared, and does not advocate forcibly for his client. I am forever regretful I ever met him. First impressions are deceiving. Consider yourself warned. Our next meeting will be on different sides of the court. Dear Maurice, you should stay on the right side of the law! You know better!

My boyfriend recently used this Attorney and his experience with Maurice wasn't very professional.The first time he met up with Maurice everything seemed great. We gave the attorney some money up front and after the first meeting it was really hard to get in contact with him. Maurice does not answer his phone most of the time and never calls back until days later. After about a month of wanting to talk to him and meet up with him to begin the process, he was no where to be found and kept saying he was busy. My boyfriend then found another attorney and asked that he be refunded the amount that was given to him on their first meeting and was told he could only give back half the funds. When asked if we could pick up the money, he was told that he would be mailing a check. Again, we are having to wait on this attorney and not even sure if and when we will get our refund back. We don't recommend this attorney and recommend you find someone else that's actually going to answer their phone and return phone calls.
