Very poor court appointed attorney. I know lawyers have to do pro bono once a year. Marissa Morales does not care about people she cares about money.

Lawrence was very professional the whole time. I wasn't the easiest client to work with but he hung in there and when we went to court he was very prepared and did an excellent job for me. I highly recommend the Morales Law firm.

I highly recommend the Morales firm. We hired them on the recommendation of another attorney. Lawrence and Melissa were great. They gave us prudent advice throughout our case based on their considerable expertise and research. They worked our case efficiently and kept our costs down. They responded to our questions and concerns throughout in a professional and pleasant manner. And most importantly, they resolved the case before we incurred steep litigation expenses. I'm not sure what more you could ask from a law firm. I highly recommend the Morales Firm.

Melissa is a wonderful person who cares about her clients. She goes above and beyond just the "job". She fought hard for my case and used much insight and skill in trying in every way to have the best possible outcome for us. I know that she is a person I can count on. I felt like I was more than just a client.

I would like to start by saying that Melissa has a heart of gold. I worked with her on a project that was highly sensitive and confidential. She fought hard for us showing dignity and respect for all parties involved. Every step of the process was done with intense care, true due diligence, and attention to detail. From top to bottom her team is stellar. I would highly recommend this firm above the rest.

Lawrence Morales II recently defended me in a lawsuit where I found him to be both very competent and personally sincere. He quickly ascertained the weaknesses in the plaintiffs’ complaint and by doing so was able to settle the lawsuit in my favor. I would wholeheartedly recommend the Morales Law Firm.

I have worked closely with The Morales Firm and Melissa Morales Fletcher, in particular. She helped me through a very tough legal situation with patience and compassion. She answered emails and phone calls very quickly and put me at ease throughout the whole process. Since that time 4 years ago, I have called upon their firm for guidance and support for my own company's matters as well as personal matters for friends and colleagues. Their firm has always provided the right kind of information and guidance. If you need legal advice, I highly recommend Melissa Morales Fletcher and The Morales Firm!

I was a defendant in a very complex contract dispute with a former employer spanning 4 years. The suit, if not handled carefully, had the potential to ruin us financially - I needed a law firm with experience, local knowledge and courage, a firm we could trust our future to. We were severely outnumbered, fighting a publicly traded Company with unlimited resources - Lawrence Jr. had to battle 4-5 senior Attorneys at every appearance, in every motion, every brief and ultimately in Court - it was an epic battle. Lawrence and his team including his father and sister outworked and outsmarted our adversary, they spent more time preparing and were far more invested in winning our case than all the Plaintiff's Attorney’s combined! Lawsuits are destructive, you need an Attorney who will work hard, treat you fairly and offer unvarnished assessments of the case so you can make more thoughtful decisions together. Lawrence and the folks at the Morales Firm are the real deal, there isn’t another firm in Texas we would trust our economic future to.

Our organization has trusted our legal matters to the phenomenal team at The Morales Firm in San Antonio. As our company has grown exponentially over the past years, we have needed sharp legal counsel to guide and inform us. We have engaged with both Lawrence and Melissa and found them both to be professional, timely, extremely knowledgeable, well connected and very enjoyable to partner with. They have become trusted advisers and loyal friends over the past many years. We have without hesitation recommended them to countless clients and colleagues and I cannot imagine running our company today without them.

I was one of eight plaintiffs who were represented by allison and Lawrence in 2017-2018 against our former employer. Allison and lawrence were timely, professional and actually cared about our cause, not just the money! Awesome people, not to mention we won! They didnt ask us to pay until the judgment, which really was great seeing as we, the plaintiffs, were all fired from this job.
They are personable and real people.
Thanks again guys

I had an issue with a former employer and worked with Melissa Morales Fletcher to get it resolved. She was knowledgeable, professional and compassionate at all times. She was quick to respond to phone calls and emails and always took time to explain the "why" behind her suggestions. Hopefully I'll not need an attorney in the future but if I do, I'll be calling the Morales law firm.

This office is completely unprofessional. I call for a consultantion and the lady didn’t even let me finish explaining my case. Meaning the things to consult was not of 1 or 2 minutes. It had a lot detail but she just started taking with over just the first thing I told her. After that she pretty much didn’t let me talk and hang up. I think her name was Melissa. Seriously you want your business to growth. Stop overtaking over the people and Listen!! That’s the problem you don’t listen and then says something really quick and hang up.

I was facing a very serious felony drug charge that I knew I was not responsible for, but, nevertheless, was something that I had to face in order to clear my name of any wrongdoing. I had the opportunity of retaining a family friend who was a well-respected family attorney and was someone that my family and I knew we could count on to have my best interest at hand, or go with my court appointed attorney, Marissa Morales, who had many years of criminal court experience. In the time from my posting bail and being released from jail to my court hearing, I mulled over every single option that I could as I had never been arrested before and knew that this decision would be one that would affect the rest of my life. I pride myself on being a thorough and careful person, as well as being as receptive as I can to subjects that I am not very knowledgeable in. Unfortunately, being a college graduate and relatively upstanding citizen for all of my life, I had no experience with a case like this. Everything I had read about public defenders and court appointed attorneys was that they were overworked, inundated with casework and ultimately ineffective at getting cases dismissed, relying instead on plea bargains to settle. However, after meeting with Marissa at her firm, and after discussing with her at length about the ways in which she would handle my case, I felt confident that she was the person to rely on in this situation. She was straight-forward, no nonsense in her attempts to gather every single detail about my case and what lead up to it, and exuded knowledgeability and confidence in the proceedings of court and what to expect from a case like this that, frankly, put me at immediate ease knowing she was the person who would be representing me.

Fast forward to my court hearing - Marissa walked me through the steps of what this initial hearing would be. No pleas, no sentencing or rulings, just discovery to ascertain what the DA and the prosecutors had in the case. She coached me through what would happen, and had informed me previously that something that would greatly help my case would be to gain letters of recommendation and character reference letters from employers, family members and members in the community. Suffice it to say, this advice was instrumental. I never actually went up before the judge, never had to stand and be seen as a potential criminal or felon. Marissa presented my letters to the prosecutor, got my hearing delayed for another month, but ultimately this would prove to be unnecessary. The day after my court hearing, I received a call from Marissa saying that the DA and prosecutor were dropping all charges and dismissing the case. I was elated, overjoyed and more grateful than I had ever felt for Marissa and her firm’s help. She took my case and helped save me from an irrevocable and devastating outcome that would’ve destroyed everything I had worked for and ruined all of the aspirations I had for my future. Even though I knew I was innocent, I truly felt that the criminal justice system, which is rife with cases of wrongful sentencing against people for minor drug offenses, would certainly take me down into the abyss of criminality as just another number in a woefully broken system. Marissa stopped that from happening, and for as long as I live and have a future that is wholly mine to determine, I will be forever grateful to her for what she did for me and my family. If you find yourself in a dark place, reach out to this firm, because if Marissa is any indication of the other attorneys available here and the capabilities of this firm as a whole, you’ll be in good hands.

I had the pleasure of working with Marissa Barrera Morales. She is well prepared, trustworthy, responsive, and very knowledgeable with the law and courts. She cared about my case as much as I did. There is no doubt that I would turn to her for any legal matter and feel confident in the outcome.

I was referred to Mr Lawrence Morales Jr by a friend who know of him. He did return my second phone call a week after my first call. Mine is a potential age discrimination suit. He spoke to me for about 5 minutes where he informed me that anything he did would be charged be the hour. He had me send him my employment contract for his reviewl. I did so. I few days later my employment role was eliminated. I called him and left voicemail again. He has not returned my phone call since. I am a 58 year old multiple award winning sales leader. THis role elimination has cost me hundereds of thousands of dollars. There is a lot more to the story. Dealing with Lawrence was a huge disapointment. He didn't care even enough to return my calls.
