My son-in-law had no representation, but Michael negotiated a fair deal for all. So we gave him a try for my boyfriend who's ex took off out of town and left 1 of the 3 children behind with neighbors. He ended up negotiating getting custody of 1 child, lowering child support payments, catching up on arrears and enforcing geo restriction between bexar and nueces county. We got everything we wanted and more! He is very profressional and pays great attention to detail.

My experience after hiring Karen Marvel was a long difficult journey going through a family custody case. There were a lot of meetings needed because my Ex was trying to take custody of our daughter, but Karen made sure I got my rights as a father and that all of the Texas family Codes stood behind that as well. I did my research on the best, knowledgeable, compassionate family/child support attorneys in bexar county & Brandon Wong was the first attorney reccomended on AVVO & several other sites. I am dealing with a very sensitive case that involves domestic violence, injury to my child from her father & called to have my initial consultation with Brandon Wong specifically because every review said he was very empathetic & compassionate in his cases (which I need very bad). He sounded very frustrated as soon as he answered the phone, & got more so with every question I asked him pertaining to my potential case with him. Only emphasizing his prices (not my concerns), & reiterating that i needed an attorney (obviously, hence why I was calling???). When trying to clarify a comment he made on one of my questions that I was having trouble understanding, he even said "I'm not going to fight with you, this is what it is". If Brandon Wong & his office was not able to help me, that is totally fine. But my "consultation" ended in tears, & thru my tears, I asked him to please be nice to me, there is no reason to speak so aggressive. & All he replied back with was, "Well, have a good day. If you need us to start building your case, Megan handles that & starts off at $200 an hour." & then disconnected our call. Extremely disappointed. It took me 3 years to gather up the courage to reach out to an attorney regarding my case.. but Brandon Wong reminded me I have no hope & why even bother.

Just a note: please, before considering this firm, look at the way they responded to my review. They only focused on one thing: that they couldn't help me with what I was inquiring about, which I said in my review was fine. I called to schedule an appointment and her phone was cutting in and out I could barely understand her. Than I tell her you keep cutting and she’s like oh yes I think my phone is old or something. So than I continue to listen and wait for an appointment than I’m like hold on I can’t understand and she sighed in frustration and was like ugh and so before I could hear anymore of her frustration I said never mind I’ll look around. Before I even hung up she says this is gonna be crazy I’m like how the hell she think that if I barely even got to speak my case. How can she do great jobs if she can’t even fix her phone to talk to new clients without being frustrated.

Going through Any legal matter is difficult. I found Michael to be an amazing guide throughout the process, and a person who was in the know of how to make this process meet my needs (and budget). Any meeting or communication was pleasant, not filled with jargon, and straightforward. Not that I would want to undergo the circumstances again, but I would look to Michael for any counseling or legal matters! We initiated filings late June and were finalized early October. I have had to complete a divorce pro se before, and Michael’s skills, service, and guidance was we worth the partnership and legal fees! I would recommend ...and I have done with my friends!
