No one else we trust with our business contracts

Very unprofessional! I told the gentlemen I never had an account that was in collections and there was fraud on my account that I closed a while ago. He told me it was mine and he was documenting as true and refusal to pay... In more or less words. Then he hung up on me. What a JERK...

This office is conducting illegal inquiries on your credit pretending they are collecting child support. They are a bill collector and the inquiry is a hard hit on your report under false pretenses. They are unethical and a BBB complaint along with a dispute to all 3 credit bureaus was filed. I had to give 1 star to be able to leave this comment.

If I could give them no stars I would. I received a call from Carol Lewis in regards to a debt I owe and she was harassing me, threatening me with several things. She went as far as calling me at my place of employment.

Adam is very compassionate and gets the job done! I would recommend Adam to anyone who needs an attorney!

This people are thieves

My experience with J Katz Law office was very good. Previously I had been bounced around by other law firms and no one seemed to give me real answers to my questions about my case. I would recommend them to anyone needing help with their own case.

This company is a scam. Con'd me into paying a legitimate debt, but they are anything but. My debt was still listed on my credit score and the people that owned the debt knew nothing of payments made and he got double what I owed. You cannot go to jail or court for debt, especially once sold. Do not fall for it and demand a paper trail.

This company was hired to collect money for a debt that I owed. I agreed to allow them to charge my debit card $150. I go onto my bank account and this company charged my card twice! I immediately called them back and spoke to Carol Lewis who assured me that this was reversed back and would be back into my account within 24hrs. The next day I show this didn't happen. I made a total of 6 phone calls with her and my bank to get this taken care of. I told her that my bank needed a document on letter head letting them know that the second charge was in error. Carol even argued with my bank who told her they see no request for reversal from them as she stated. Needless to say Carol never "did right by me" as she would say repeatedly. My bank was gracious enough to reverse the second charge that was not authorized. But because of their error this caused me $257.11 in NSF that I had to pay for cause this company said it "wasn't their fault" I spoke with the attorney and he was SO RUUUUDE.. said that it was my fault and they are not responsible for the NSF that they caused! He told me to have an attorney call him. WHO SAYS THAT?

I agree, Mr. Katz is a very bad criminal attorney. A good ticket attorney, as a criminal attorney. He cares more about how much money he can suck out of his clients than defending them and doing what's right. True, that describes 80% of the attorneys in Broward County. He does run his business like a glorified public defender. I spoke briefly to his old boss at the public defenders office. He did not say anything nice. Its been over seven years since Mr. Katz handled my case and I am still suffering from the outcome. I never committed a crime in my life and yet, I am a felon. I have clemency and my rights back but there are a lot of opportunities of which I am being denied, including a decent place to live. Casey Anthony is running around free, she had a good lawyer. So did George Zimmerman and talk about a violent individual, if either of them were in Broward, they probably would have gone to jail. But this man couldn't even handle what was a little misunderstanding. I didn't mean to do anything, even my probation officer understood that. He told my boss "he's not a really a criminal he just showed poor judgment. But the two years that I was on Community control, ruined my life and my business. I just want to put the past where it belongs, in the past and in order to do that, I need a good attorney and not the people that practice in Broward.
