The lawyer who I hired (Darrell Strawbridge) for a very mentally ill friend for a violation of probation was as pitiful as a lawyer could be. His mental illness never was even mentioned in court. My friend was totally unprepared for the hearing. The prosecutor ranted for 45 minutes, Darrell Strawbridge said nothing in response. Or rather, "We request the minimum." My best friend, and one of the gentlest people I know got 5 YEARS IN PRISON, for a probation violation that had MENTAL ILLNESS written all over it. He entered an unlocked car, for a reason I'm sure was not understandable, took nothing, and it was dropped to trespassing. The worst mistake I ever made:

Hiring Darrell Strawbridge A PARTNER, and not either have let the Public Defender handle it, or have done more research. Doing worse WAS IMPOSSIBLE! Flushong my money down the toilet would have been using it better. It seemed like he had never been in a VOP hearing before. An utterly clueless, and a paranoid schizophrenic (In denial) goes to prison for 5 years, for being mentally ill basically. 9 involuntary commitments to a mental health facility in two years. Countless MLB PD visits to his grandmothers residence where he lived. Circles of Care commitment DAYS before his VOP offense. NOTHING mentioned. To a court appointed mental health examiner, or to the court.

Mr. Strawbridge curtly told his devastated client: "I won't handle an appeal of the sentence." He didn't like his client, and he let it show. Quite unethical IMHO.

Yout life can be at risk with a bad lawyer. Run from this place! I CAN'T GIVE A ZERO OR NEGATIVE STARS!

Amazing lawyer. No one was taking my case due complications with car insurance.
They took my case and updated me Often !!
I moved 175 miles away and they still took care of it with communication by phone and mail.
Very nice and friendly office staff.
If I ever need a lawyer again I would give them a call.

Fair and the best

This firm has truly found a great attorney with John. He always went the extra mile for me in every regard as each time he has represented me while I was overseas serving in the U.S. Air Force. HIS MILITARY KNOWLEDGE IS IMPECCABLE AND PROBABLY THE BEST IN THE AREA WHEN IT COMES TO MILITARY ISSUES. Started off great and ended with a sour taste in my mouth. Started out very professional and ended with very unprofessional remarks. Deborah is a very unprofessional assistant that will give a law firm a bad name as it did for me. Thought I found the perfect attorney to stick with but will never and I repeat never hire this law firm again.

We had a phone consultation with John Moore recently about an adoption and to be honest I was very disappointed from the get go. To start things off they never called last Friday at 10am like they were supposed to according to the emails the Paralegal and I had sent each other. Second when I finally received a call from the Paralegal she asked are you ready for your call with John to which I replied yes so she transferred me to his phone extension and instead of answering the phone with a "Hi Mr *****, I understand the reason for your call and here's how I can help you." No instead all I got was a "hello can i help you." Ummm you're the attorney with my case file in your lap you should know why I'm calling. Second his fees were astronomically outrageous. He wanted $5k when many other attorneys are charging around $2k. He tried to justify his fee by saying there's a lot of paperwork involved. I'm sure he's a good attorney but I'm sorry I will never be a client of his/there's.

After defending myself from a burglar at my home , I was facing a possible criminal history and potentially my loss of freedom . Based on recommendations from several friends and neighbors , I hired Clay Morgan & Darrell Sedgewick . Upon my first meeting with these gentleman I knew that I had made the correct choice for counsel , they explained the charges against me , all possible remedies and potential outcomes . What stood out was the sincere concern for my well being in all aspects . Once in the courtroom these gentlemen became a focused driven machine intent on a positive outcome .
