Mary and her team was the best thing that happened to my family. Since day 1 Mary went out of her way to make sure that we understood everything that was going on. She was very clear on everything! Her Assistant Lori was so amazing answering emails, calling us making sure we were all in the same page!! After working with Mary and her team for months, when we finally met in person it was like we were family at that point!. Our case was very unique for Mary Greenwood and her team and they never gave up on us. Mary went above and beyond for us and after a year of working hard on our case we had an amazing ending! Sadly, selecting this law firm was the worst mistake I could have ever made. I would have never fathomed my attorney leaving the firm midway through my case! She never petitioned the court, I had to repeatedly call to request an itemized bill, I did not get guardianship of my mother (which was the reason I hired them in the first place) and the attorney assigned by the firm when my attorney left did nothing. She only called me one time and didn't accomplish anything. They only sent a bill stating I needed to pay more money (I had already been charged $4,000). Do not use this firm, they take your money and will not fight your case. The office staff also gets belligerent and rude (except Jennifer). Complete waste of money! The favorable reviews on here are fake

In a domestic violence situation and had $2,200 saved up in case of emergency and gave every penny to this firm. Now 2 months later although all of my circumstances, the lawyer withdrew from my case because of non payment. Asked for maybe an extension until I get back on my feet etc, but no. Pro bono work for the rest? No. “Go to Bay Area Legal services” where I have to wait a week just to get an interview?! Pathetic.
Two words. Money hungry just like the rest. ‍♀️

Attorney Mary Greenwood is Amazing. I have cared for my husband for nineteen year's. I am also his legal guardian. Since moving to Florida in 2003 Mary has been a Godsend to us! The law's in Michigan and Florida are different. And the accident had happened in 2000. Without Mary's legal brilliance, along with her compassion and genuine caring. I'm not at all sure where we would be now. If You need the best look no further!

Don’t waste your time and money in this place. My mutual agreement divorce has been taking over a year and still going this is way too long for a divorce that both parties agree in everything!! I think one of the reasons is because most of the time I sent notarized documents to the attorney or her secretary they lost or misplaced them making the process longer and frustrating. Last week I found out that supposedly a document was missing again when I called them to check the status of my case. I was like when you was planning to let me know?!? Like I said do not waste your time and money here find a competent attorney that guide you through the divorce process as quickly and smooth as possible.
I’m active duty military and having these people handle my divorce has been a mistake.

Very nice family law practice with an EXCELLENT staff. We got thete a little late to sigh some documents (because of Brandon traffic) and they had no problem staying a little late.

We have had the opportunity to use the services on three separate occasions over the last 5 years and the process has been issue-free. The rates are more than reasonable for services rendered and we've always been dealt with respectfully and timely. We have recommended their services to others and their experiences have been more than satisfactory as well.

I am a birth mother who worked with Brandon Family Law (more specifically Alyce, the Adoption Coordinator) to place my child with the perfect family. From start to finish I was treated with the utmost respect, sympathy, and love. My situation was unfortunate and heartbreaking but I am honestly beyond grateful to have had Alyce be by my side to offer me support and to help me understand everything throughout the entire process without passing any judgement or making the situation any more difficult for me.

I used this law firm to help me with a child custody case. They charged me over $3800 and did NOTHING! I mean nothing! The lawyer called me three days in a row and left me a voice mail telling me to call her and charged me $60 PER CALL. Just to tell me to call her back - I am NOT kidding. She would have a phone conference with me about what I would want my agreement (with my x-husband) to say (read) and when she would email it to me for my review, she had deleted things that I wanted left in the agreement, put things that I didn't want and than charge me to make the changes that were due to her mistakes. Seriously don't waste your money here if you are looking for help with a child custody case.

I could not be happier with the team at Brandon Family Law Center. I have been working with them on various issues since 2014 and they have always taken care of situation and the end result has always been satisfactory. They provide sound legal advise, they keep me well informed as to what is going on, they even help me craft communications to make sure I do not get myself into a tight place. I have worked with Mary, Karen, and Lea the most but even just visiting the office I seem to know everyone and I am sure everyone has helped in some way to handle the various issues I have had to deal with.

this so-called law firm cost me thousands then dumped me as a client after I was told by the lawyer I got stuck with that I would sign a promissory note for final payment!,, the lawyer I was given lied, it was HER idea to come in to make the arrangements to pay, it was HER idea to have me sign a promissory note, and it was HER that forgot to inform her assistant to draw up the agreement after I left- I was supposed to get a call to come in to sign it once her assistant typed it up.....that call never came!!!!!!,,, I did everything I was instructed to do! and yet I get a letter in the mail 5 days before my divorce trial that I no longer have legal counsel??! Really? after she had me come in to hammer out the agreement then dump me as a client within a few days of my trial? I see now that this was basically an extortion tactic to get even more money from me that I did not have... I also have lodged a complaint to the Florida Bar association. I even received a bill from her for the (special meeting) in HER office to discuss the promissory note that never materialized!!! wow! I would give negative stars here if i could. The real sad part of this story is that when I first came in for an intitial consultation I was told by the head lawyer (Mary Greenwood) from the firm that if I run into financial issues down the road- not to worry as I could always sign a promissory note and make payments... so stupid me believed her.. and after a prolonged drawn out year long divorce, two (paid) retainers later, and a (special meeting) just prior to my divorce trial to hammer out that promissory note,,,,, I was left high and dry by this firm... run far away from this firm!!!

Called to speak to an attorney and they wanted to charge $100 consultations fee before they evened looked at or considered the probate of my grandfathers estate.

I was very pleased with the services of Brandon Family Law. Traveling from out of state to take care of my mother's final arrangements, they were able to squeeze me in for a consultation and get everything in motion for probate while I was in town. Everything else was able to be handled via mail, email and fax from my home in Ohio. Responses to my questions were timely and accurate.
