I got myself in a bizarre situation with a Deputy from the Broward Sheriff’s Office. I was on vacation and unaware of the vast police mis-conduct ongoing within the BSO. A simple misunderstanding over a parking ticket escalated into much more! I found myself in jail with 2 felony charges! Being 35 with no prior criminal record I was perplexed how I was in this situation.
