It’s not to often that I need to call a lawyer thank god. When I called around l spoke to a few representatives of different firms. One representative actually told me I would most likely be spending up to a year in lockup and wanted me to send a retainer of 800 dollars so he can get his team on it ASAP. As you probably guessed this is when I dialed the law firm of Mark T. Hurt. After about 3 rings the phone was answered in a professional and friendly manner. The person introduced herself as Dana and then she explained in a vocabulary of words that I easily understood. I hired the firm immediately and made payment arrangements that were agreeable to the both of us. Now all this happened in November 2018. It is now January 23, 2019 and court day. I forwarded Dana all paperwork that she requested and I had to postpone a driving class because of illness. Later that day I got two calls. My case was negotiated with the paperwork I sent in. I could not had a better outcome. I want to thank everyone one who was involved and making a bad experience easier then it could have been.

I got a reckless driving ticket in Smyth county when I was having my road trip during a long holiday weekend. I made a bunch of phone calls after realized speeding in Virginia is a serious thing even I lived in Northern Virginia for a long time. At the end I decided to go with Mark. Everyone I spoke to was professional and super helpful. I received detailed guidance for what I should do and the whole process was super smooth. After my court day I was able to get my reckless driving ticket reduced which is as expected as I have been told. I appreciate for the help from Mark and I would recommend Mark without a doubt.

I completed the assignments notified by the employees in this law firm soon as I could and submitted the files to them; the law firm made a plan to fight my case in the court against the new judge who tends to rule stricter, especially to my kind of case........ . Fortunately, with the professional experience, Mr. Hurt and his team help me to drop my misdemeanor charge to "improper driving." Though I still need to pay $566 for the fine set by the local government, I did not need to worry about jail time and problems from DMV at least.

Pathetic support staff. No follow through.. Sent me paperwork to sign before they answered a single question I had. Refused to return calls and then panicked when I told them I am seeking legal help elsewhere. I would not recommend this law firm. Support staff refused to let me speak to Mr. Hurt yet wanted me to sign paperwork allowing him to represent me. Uh... no thanks.

I was driving to Baltimore from Nashville and had a run in with a Sheriff who said I was going 88/70. He wrote me up for reckless driving which is a misdemeanor and I didn’t want that on my record.
