Good job with my workmans comp case! We are working on the PI now. I read all the negative and I know that I am not their only client and with that being said they have several avenues to get ahold of your attorney... i.e. email, voicemail and I even have texted my attorney. Legal cases take time and if you think they don't then no attorney will be to your satisfaction.

I would not recommend this law firm to anyone who is looking for an attorney to help them with their workers compensation lawsuit, on the other side of the coin their attorney who works on Social Security would suggest this attorney. I think that Mr Spencer needs to hire attorneys who more aggressive than laid back. Overall not a bad law firm if your in no hurry and want to stay in the dark concerning the progress of your because they fail to call you back.

Kelly Spencer represented my husband's case , and did a great job, also did my friend case's and other people that we know too. We know him for more than 5 yrs. And always been an excellent attorney.

At the outset, let me say that the reason we originally contacted the Spencer law firm was through the referral of a relative of the primary attorney, whom we trust. Furthermore, in our initial meeting the attorney exuded confidence in reference to our case and made grandiose claims about the kind of settlement he foresaw and multiple times declared that it was an easy case that should probably be resolved in just a couple of months. Based on the reference of the relative and the articulate showmanship of our attorney in our initial meeting we contracted their services.

Just about everything from that point forward was downhill. When we checked back in with the law office almost 2 months later, our lawyer informed us that he hadn't even begun working on the case. Subsequently, a multitude of promises were made to my wife and broken, phone calls were never returned, and we went months without the slightest update as to how our case was doing.

Finally, when I contacted their office for the first time to inquire about canceling their services after yet another failure on our lawyer's part to call us back when promised, I was forwarded to the business manager, who apologized and promised that either she or our lawyer would contact me the next day. Ten days later, with no call received, I called yet again to cancel their services. This time to the primary attorney on the phone who apologized and made guarantees that he would personally handle the case moving forward.

Our experience with him was more of the same experience that we had with our initial attorney. Apart from the first time he said he would call back, every other promise that he made has been broken. And finally, we received a settlement letter in the mail, 1 year and 3 months after the accident, which, after their fees are taken out comes to approximately $100 more than the initial offer we had received from the insurance company. It bothers me quite a bit that when my wife called to discuss this issue with the attorney pursuant to their request in the letter, he initially tried to convince her that our initial offer from the insurance company had been $500-$1000 in order to convey that he had made us a good bit of money. It further bothered me that in a follow up conversation that he blamed her for the low settlement amount because she was unwilling to take the case to trial and then he hung up on her while she was trying to ask him further questions.

The only people who benefited from our contracting their services was the law firm itself. We wasted almost a year of our lives, our experience was that the people we interacted with were unprofessional, broke promises frequently, demonstrated poor communication, and always blamed us for anything that was going wrong.

I cannot stress enough that my wife and I would encourage you to not contract their services on the basis of our experience.
