In February 2018 I was in a car accident. I was injured in the accident and needed medical care. Soon after my accident I hired Lauri Goldstein and her company, and at first everything went smoothly and they were very caring and helped me get my doctors and therapy and so on. During the accident the one thing that happened, my front tooth was broken out, and out of everything that was the one thing that I wanted to make sure that I got fixed because I do have nice teeth. They told me absolutely no problem no problem whatsoever I would be able to get my tooth fixed and my other injuries taken care of. My first lawyers name was Mike and after my initial doctor visits and making sure that I got all the information in, the contact with Mike became non-existent. I would call and leave messages day after day week after week month after month and sometimes it would take two or three months before I would hear anything back from Mike or one of the many assistance that he went through on my case. Three or four I think so every time I called in the new assistant had no idea who I was or anything about my case. This went on for a long time. I called in and asked to speak to someone that was over Mike or held a superior position so I could voice my complaints. To date I have never had a phone call from anyone of authority in the company. 18 months this drug on until finally I got a new lawyer just recently named Casey Williams. Once Casey took over my case it seemed like a rocket had been shot off and my case went from sitting on the shelf to being closed and satisfied within a very short period of time. I believe if my case would have been handled correctly Throughout my whole case, I would never have had to wait 18 months to close my case. Mike kept telling me to go to the doctors such as orthopedic, chiropractic and therapy to make sure that my medical bills were going to be taken care of. Unbeknownst to me I was using up the money that I had in PIP and when it came time to fix my tooth there was no money left. Throughout the case I was told consistently that when my case closed I would be getting a certain amount of money. My case just closed at the end of July, 30 I believe, and the amount of money I received was less than half of what they had told me and after everything was said and done The lawyers kept almost exactly the same amount of money as I made and my front tooth is still missing and I have no way of fixing it. So if you’re going to hire a lawyer make sure that it’s not someone that just barely passed the bar or make sure that you do your homework and you get one of the lawyers that are doing a good job in the firm rather than one they were hanging on to and finally had to let go because of his lack of integrity and the way that he missed handled many in his caseload. If you can get Casey Williams as your lawyer I would definitely recommend him. But as for anything else with this company I don’t believe that it is run properly and I think the lawyers worry about getting the big cases and if you have a smaller case it gets put on the shelf and settled whenever they get around to it.

I had a bad fall in a local center that did not have the curbs painted according to code. My wrist was broken so badly that I needed surgery and was in the hospital for 3 days. I wanted to sue because I didn't want anyone else to go through what I did. After 31 months, mediation and I can't tell you how many unanswered phone calls I found out my settlement gives me $1000. It has been one of the worst experiences of my life. I was not looking for money but I thought maybe $5 or 6 thousand, but $1,000?
