Michael use to be a good Attorney.
For tickets he is but for child custody or anything that's takes time to personalize he is not. I used him 2 years ago for a case and he lost then blamed it on the D.A and judge. So I used him again. Same thing, the judge and D.A run all over him. He set there like a deer in headlights.
I would not use him again for nothing. Now I have to wait to pay another Attorney to fix and redo my legal thing's. All I can say is good luck if you get this man for something more then a simple ticket.

Hi, I hired Mr. Michael Edwards around may of 2017 for a charge after i called the police after I wrecked my car and confused him then wrote me a ticket. I called the police and he said there was nothing he could do etc.... Upon leaving a voicemail for Mr. Edwards he called me back later that day or the next day in a very prompt manner. I explained to him my situation and told him that I promise I did not commit the traffic crime the police charged me with. He then explained to me what he could do to help me and I mailed him the small amount of money he charges for traffic offenses, since I'm from Asheville, NC. I went and got him everything else he said he would need and mailed him this also. Mr Edwards got the charge dismissed for me rather quickly and all is said and done now. I cannot comment about his handling of his other case law he handles (child custody etc....) but he did great with my traffic case. Mr Edwards was very respectful to me over the phone and so was his office manager Ms. April Gardin. I do suggest Emailing him and his office staff rather than Calling them. Have a great day! :)

Not a good experience. Never calls back (even when you leave voicemails), and never answers phone. I gave up and found someone else.

Micheal assisted me in my DUI charge and did fabulous. He did everything he said he would and has assisted me over the phone with other matters. His office staff is wonderful and I appreciate them all.

Mr. Edwards is the worst attorney in Marion NC. He will take your money and do nothing. He will refuse your calls not show up for appointments refuse to file the motions that were requested by the client. He will tell you want to hear and do nothing. He does not care about the welfare of your children or your family. Stay away from him and go elsewhere. Check out his awful reviews on Topix too he is state as the the #1 worst attorney in Marion NC.
