I was facing a trafficking marijuana charge enhanced with a weapon. I was looking at 10 years initially and almost thought I was gonna get sentenced to the 10 years, despite the fact the weapons weren’t mine and evidences in the case. Mr Butler faced my charge with pure confidence from everything down to even getting me level testing so I could bond out without fully passing a drug test, to getting the gun charges dropped, to only 2 years probation when they wanted 5 years in jail out of me at the minimum. Would highly recommend. Would use him again. Great lawyer and keeps you very calm about proceedings as they can be nerve racking. It was almost like I didn’t even go to court half the time!!

I had a former felony charge from several decades ago. An assault charge in which I kinda beat up some guy ...
Did 10 years in a state Penitentiary, 1 year of Parole, then quietly carried on with my life - not so much by doing the right thing (pretty much always done that), but making things right.

Jump forward 20 years and my home is subject to a raid unrelated to my firearm possession charge. What was bad, so to speak, was they DID find firearms in my home.

My firearm possession charge started in local District Court, got kicked up to the ATF (Federal level) - not sure why exactly, they didn't pick it up (which made sense from what I read on the ATF web-site), and picked back up (I guess ?) by Circuit Court in May, 2018.
Had to start the process all over again, starting with pleading 'guilty or 'not guilty' on an arraignment (or plea hearing).

And Bill was with me the whole way as things navigated through the numerous levels of courts ...

At the end of the day, in September 2018 the Circuit Court Judge listened to Bills plea and probated (probation) my sentence ...
... which just makes sense.

Bill has been a great mentor who motivated me to provide helpful, and unique, to the Prosecution documenting my past.
He stood with me through the whole process, and - probably most important, believed in me.

Mr Butler or Bill is a man of his word, I had federal charges ,Wire Fraud watch I was Guilty. I plead guilty and got 41 months Bill did everything he could before I entered my Plea Agreement and after I was released he still worked to help me with probation. I was rushed into taking a deal I shouldn't have taken. Don't hire this man all he wants is to take your money and rush you through the court process without even putting up any type of fight. Also he'll tell that he'll help you after the case that too is a lie.
