I contacted Mr. Minick after making the biggest mistake of my life! I was charged with DUI, alcohol level .20 and failure to maintain control. I called his office and he called me the very same day as I had to be in court that week. He took on my case on a very short notice and handled it all very professionally with no judgement. I have an interlock device installed in my car due to a DWI and made an appointment with Mr. Minick after receiving a DMV notice stating that I was losing my license due to a violation on the device. It was a pretty high alcohol violation and my odds weren't looking favorable. He was able to get me in very quickly and each appointment I had with him before my hearing was very productive and thorough. The days before my hearing I still had a lot of documentation to complete and he was available over the phone/email even in the early morning and evenings to make sure we were as prepared as possible. Spent a year fighting my dwi case, which he betrayed. Just wants your money; we had a contract that stated I pay half now (1750) and the other half within 2 months of last court date. Paid the first half upfront in cash. I guess since I didn't pay it all up front I deserve to be completely misrepresented?? is the only reason I could believe why he rolled over like a possum. He "argued" my case as if I was a homeless degenerate that was living and consuming alcohol out of my car! To the judge!! Had not one single objection to the state. Even though we spent a year waiting on dash cam footage (that the officers had a different story about its existence every month, on record) and talking probable cause. I've employed Minicks services before, so trusted him to get the job done.. I should've spoke for myself when I had my final trial, but alas I trusted this SNAKE. There are better dwi attorneys out there, trust me. About me: I drink one in a month, if that, I'm petite ..was just in process of moving, one day between housing, employee of the month at work..made a bad decision, obviously. Man, you know who this is. Hope you had a terrible vacation at my expense. Beware of lawyers like this one.
