I had her for my work comp lawyer she is good

I was very happy with Hennessey Law Firm. I fell getting into my truck and seriously hurt my back and my knee. I knew my employer would fight it hard. We went to trial and Ms. Hennessey was great. She knew my injuries which were very serious and the medical records better than even the doctors and way better than the 2 other lawyers. The other lawyer tried to make me look like I was faking with old pictures from Facebook. Ms. Hennessey was great making her look really dumb. The judge was even mad at the other lawyer. I was very happy we won the whole case including lifetime medical treatment.

My brother kept telling me I to call Cynthia Hennessey about my case. She was his lawyer and got him a very good settlement for his work injury. I had a back fusion this year and am not back to work yet. Cynthia knows her stuff. I like her because she is not afraid to fight hard against the insurance company and she is a nurse too. That makes a big difference to have someone who understands my condition and what I am going through.

I do not know where to start with this attorney. We hired CYNTHIA HENNESSY to handle our workers comp case. That is not who we dealt with through this entire process. We spoke with Mrs. Hennessy for at most 5 mins before and after a deposition. We had no idea what to expect, there was no coaching, she did intervene during the harsh deposition of questions that were totally irrelevant to our case. During our entire process we only received information as when we needed to show up to our deposition. We made constant calls to the office and received the same response. We are waiting to hear from the opposing attorney's office. Not to mention she had more to say and even went on to praise the opposing attorney office for such great work in front of our faces. I will not mention some of the other neglectful behavior at this until after we take action. Not to mention during our case my husband was out of work and we reached out to a company that needed to verify if we indeed had a case open with our attorney. Mrs. Hennessey's office suggested a local loan company that would charge us a flat fee. Fast forward to when we pick up our check their was indeed interest on top of the funds we received and the fee his company charged. We asked and they stated that they had no affiliation with the company, yet they recommended and took his fees out of settlement check. Oh, and on top of her 25% she had admin fess and some other fee added. I personally feel like our case was treated like it was a side job. I am assuming that the price wasn't big enough for her to acknowledge our case. Don't get screwed do your research folks.

I recommend Hennessey Law Firm very much. They handled my case very well. I was able to call and talk whenever I had questions and everyone always made me feel very comfortable. Sometimes I got frustrated because Work Comp didn’t pay my mileage or weekly checks and they always got it straightened out for me. Work Comp is terrible, they never pay anything on time, and they send you to “their” doctors who will help them even though you are the patient. You need a lawyer and you need a lawyer who specializes in Work Comp and who will fight them hard. Thank you.

My case was not a serious case. It was only a small knee injury and work comp did pay for all of my treatment and lost time. But I didn’t want to handle “the settlement” or the court stuff myself as I heard horror stories about insurance companies and workers compensation offering only a fraction of what the case is worth. I just didn’t want to deal with it and I knew I would just say ok to any amount of settlement just to get it over. So I researched around Missouri and read several reviews. I hired Hennessey Law Firm and Cynthia to handle the case for me. They were quick settling my case and were very easy and so nice to deal with. They are very easy and “user-friendly”. They made this as easy as can be on me.I liked that they were happy to do everything by phone and email and didn’t force me to come into the office or go to any court hearings because I work long days and did not want to have to give up my vacation time or evenings and weekend to deal with this. Highly recommend.

I very much recommend Hennessey Law Firm. My dad’s case was very complex. He slipped on ice and got a severe concussion. Workmans comp messed with his benefits, denied him the treatment he needed, sent private investigators to watch him. Cynthia and her staff held our hand the whole time and calmed us down many many times. In the end we got a very fair settlement at mediation without going to trial.

My back injury was denied because the work comp doctors said it was pre-existing degenerative disc disease. But I was fine before the accident at work. Then after the accident I needed surgery. As a nurse and a lawyer she knew exactly what doctor to send me to get a second opinion and to fight Work Comp. In the end, she got them to pay for all of my treatment and missed time.
