If you're thinking of using this attorney i would think twice. During our initial meeting Mr Federer had agreed to send a letter to the opposing party. I paid $500 in our initial meeting which my understanding was for the initial meeting plus the letter he was supposed to send. I was on vacation and when I returned I found Mr. Federer had not sent the letter as he had agreed. Upon my return, I questioned Mr Federer and he quickly sent the letter without any explanation plus my bill quickly shot over the $500 that I had already paid him. I should have ended our relationship at the time but I mistakenly didn't.

We briefly reviewed the case on the phone and I asked his opinion moving forward what fees and actions would be required. Rather than speak in terms of dollars, he answered my question solely in terms of his legal actions and terminology. Of course I was asking in terms of fees and he knew exactly what I was asking. I literally had to ask him 4 times to get a straight answer from him. He basically refused to answer my questions. At that point I lost total confidence in Mr Federer as an attorney and someone who would best represent me. This is the type of man who gives Attorneys a bad reputation. I had one face to face meeting for maybe 30 minutes, one brief phone meeting that was 5 minutes, a couple email exchanges, and 1 letter he sent on my behalf. I ended up spending over $1000 with his law firm and regret stepping 1 foot in his law office. I found him to be very self absorbed and impersonal. If I were you, I would suggest reviewing some other law firms before making your decision. I will give him 1 star because at least his secretary has a personality.
