I have never seen a more unorganized, unprofessional group. I contacted the law firm regarding a speeding ticket I received on I-70 in southern Illinois. For 3 months I got nothing but a runaround. I was asked on numerous occasions for information and payment I had already sent in, that was in their possession. No one in the office seemed to know what the other people were doing. They did not keep my updated, I had to call and email on a regular basis to get anything done. My case has finally settled but I’m shocked. I expected it to turn out they were a sham. I would NEVER recommend them nor use them again.

Refused to help me, when I asked if they had anyone they could refer me to they told me to Google it. Worst customer service ever take your case anywhere else. Why waste your time with people that dont care. Any professional attorneys office should have a referral program. They dont. Also the staff was rude to me. Something they clearly wont admit to. Take your case to people that care they dont

I would not recommend this law firm at all. I didn’t even get a chance to speak with the attorney himself. The staff was very judgmental and not helpful! I thought they were there to help not be a judgemental smart ass to a potential client!

Before I get into my review, let me preface it by stating that I know Mr. Speedie and I HAVE NOT engaged his services as an attorney personally (thankfully, I haven't had reason to). I also would state that basing your choice in an attorney based on just a Google review would probably not be the smartest thing to do. With that out of the way...
As editor of Nashville Illinois' newspaper, I have had the pleasure of getting to know several local attorneys, including Tom. While as stated above, I cannot speak to Tom's skills from the perspective of a client, I do know that he is extremely knowledgeable and very engaged both in our local community, and in the the large Illinois law community.
Tom has authored stories on changing Illinois laws and regulations for the newspaper in the past, and the stories are informative, and are both interesting and easy to understand for a layperson.
He has also answered questions for me and the newspaper regarding court and legal matters – not specific to any case, mind you, but he has provided very useful background information to me on how local and Illinois courts work, which has been extraordinarily helpful.
With regards to Mr. Speedie's involvement in the community, he has run for public office before, and in doing so conducted himself in a manner more professional and polite than a person used to watching politicians on the national level might expect. He has served as president of the Nashville Chamber of Commerce, and he is also a member of the Nashville Community High School board. I regularly cover there meetings and can also attest to Speedie's professionalism and courtesy in those regards.
In closing, while I, again, have not engaged Mr. Speedie's services as a client, if I were in the unfortunate position where I needed to have a defense lawyer, he would absolutely be the one who I would call first.

Mr Speedie knows what he is doing. I had 2 dui arrests(1 conviction, 1 court supervision dismissal) and was able to get my license back after the first hearing. No baiid machine, no restricted driving permit. Full reinstatement.
