well ive seen all the positive reviews but i guess i cant leave one at the moment. After all ive life chatted with them and explained my situation twice but never received any calls or emails from this law firm. Either he doesnt deal with harassment calls from debt collectors or their just to busy for me.

I actually had the pleasure of using their services twice. Once for a car accident a few years ago and then for disability this year. Both times were pleasant and very stress free. I left their office, after the first consult both times, feeling very confident in my situation with them on my side and both times they won my case. I was very well taken care of! My son was the passenger in a car accident, in which he sustained very serious injuries. My son required multiple surgeries, hospital stays, follow up Dr. appointments, and multiple series of xrays (such as CT scans etc), in addition to medical expenses such as special equipment for wound healing etc... To sum it all up as simply as possible, I know my son had a train wreck of a case for any law firm to have handled. I knew pretty soon after the accident, my son would need legal assistance to help get everything handled properly, I myself called more than one of the commonly advertised law firms (simply because I had seen them advertise so frequently that they could help with situations like my son’s), I was also told after they had reviewed his case, one excuse after another for why they could not take his case. Long story short, there wasn’t a lot of insurance coverage and my son had EXTENSIVE medical bills, so it was what it was, really no law degree needed to figure that out. However, in my search, I called Mr. Barnes’ law firm, and was given a chance, he reviewed everything and agreed to help. My son’s case has now been settled thanks to Mr. Barnes and his staff!!! My intention with this review is in no way meant to belittle any other law firms for not taking my son’s case for whatever reason they declined, but simply to say Mr. Barnes DID take his case, (when others wouldn’t) even though he knew it would mean sorting thru and dealing with EXTENSIVE medical bills, and that it meant there wouldn’t be a lot left afterwards, Mr. Barnes took the case anyway, to help, not for a big payday, but because of compassion. I cannot imagine the hours it took working with the healthcare provider and health insurance companies on the medical bills, or even tracking down all of the medical bills. Mr. Barnes and his staff were a God send. Not one time did we ever attempt to get in touch with him with a question or concern what he didn’t get back in touch with us immediately. I would HIGHLY recommend this law firm to anyone who wants not just a lawyer that is skilled in his profession, but a lawyer who is in the business for the right reason and hasn’t lost the compassion a lawyer should have, also a lawyer you can communicate with when needed. Spencer Barnes has been working on a case for My Daddy for 13-14 yrs. All of the things promised to he & my mom were never done. They went into debt in several areas that they were assured over & over they would be reimbursed. Mr. Barnes has been trying to get a court date for 3 years, all the while knowing Daddy was dying. My Daddy passed last Thursday, never having been to court, nor their expenses EVER reimbursed. We are VERY unhappy with the service we received from Mr. Barnes & DO NOT recommend him to represent ANYONE!!

I have to say that Spencer Barnes and all the staff at Morrison & Barnes are great to work with and have the highest standards. In my workers comp claim and my disability, they kept right on top of things and kept me informed. With their hard work, I was able to get higher than I expected in workers comp and they got my disability. They are tops.

Well I sit around and read alot of reviews. I was reading some of the reviews about this law firm, and read that DIANA PFENNING has left a bad review on here of Mr.Barnes services. I always to try and give people respect for their opinion, but this opinion is not only false, but its doesn't hold any merit.I pick up the phone and asked Mr. Barnes what the hell was she so pissed off about, and he told me that he has no idea who she is. So again another faceless person that trys to put down others and smear their good name. I have been a client of this firm for many many years.I had the best lawyer in the state (Mr. George Morrison III ) told to me bye two of the local judges here in Tennessee. Now I have the second best(Mr, Barnes).George passed away and his wishes were to have Mr, Barnes take his place and carry on the good name.I know George would pick the best man for the firm. I have had the pleasure of getting to know Spence over several years after a debilitating work injury. Spence and his staff were there for me anytime I needed anything. My case was drawn out due to the number of surgeries required and the healing process between, and he was fighting for me the whole time. Workers Comp. Ins. is a nightmare to deal with, and thankfully, after i dropped another big name local attorney, I didn't have to argue with them to get the antibiotics I needed after surgery anymore.
