I wish I knew these folks 40 years ago. Anyone with a VA service connected disability, talk to these guys if you are not 100%. They will work your case until you are 100%. It took a decade but they helped me to increase from 10% to 100%. Since the beginning they assigned me a paralegal who kept me informed pretty regularly. We made steady progress and had to dispute their rulings several times but W&W prevailed. Yes they are lawyers and the law lets them take their due, but it is the due of found money. I long ago gave up on the VA for a PTSD disability, and suffered all sorts of consequences for years. In about 2014 I heard that the VA was becoming more responsive, and was recommended by a local law firm to Woods and Woods.

It was definitely worth the wait to get a 70% disability for PTSD and 100% for unemployability, which pays at the 100% VA rate. Also received a huge amount of owed backpay that started the day of my initial claim.

If anyone is skeptical of the VA or attorneys, check out this firm. Top notch!

This law firm helped me win my VA case as a widow. The case lasted over 5 years- mainly related to waiting on the C-file to come in from the VA. Because of the backlog in the VA for C-file requests- it took the law firm over 4 years to receive the C-file. Once the C-file was received- statements were gathered, evaluations made, records reviewed, and now awaited for new evidence to be reviewed by a VA judge. Be prepared for a case that will last multiple years when bringing anything against the VA. I would definitely recommend this law firm again if I had to do it again.

I happen to know a VET who has been waiting for 8 years coming on 9 in May. They saw that he was only getting 60% while they said the VA wa supposed to be giving them 70%. No fight no nothing just a long drugged out story. They give out the worst advice setting soldiers up for failure. They told him wait and 8 going on 9 years is pretty long. Then don't try to work. This is what they offer disabled Vets who nearly experience a near death situation.

They got me 60% in less than 2 months.now they are working on the unemployable.i put in for disability in 1993.i received zero.no exams,no physical. Completely denied.i have been struggling for 26 years,mentally and physically. This firm has brought me back from the edge.i have hope now.now maybe I can start enjoying life.the 20%fee is nothing compared to what other firms were charging.without.woods and woods.i wouldn't have any money coming in.they charged me nothing to get 60%.that's why I trust them to get my 100%.these are the good guys.i went with my girl to the veterans service commission downtown Columbus, I couldn't even get a card for food.they had a sign that said if you need a smoke detector just ask.i asked,I was told no.even had to pay for parking that they said was free.i dont ever forsee myself ever walking into or dealing with the va ever again.they have been charging me to go to mental health since 2000,I have lived the va nightmare. I was very happy with my decision to have an attorney look into my case. The VA volunteer representatives were of no help, they just agreed with the VA’s decision to cut my benefits. Woods turned that decision around receiving more than I expected. Very pleased with the results. The kept me informed each month during the 2 plus year appeals process. It was long, but well worth the wait. I believe you would be happy having them as your representative.

Got called back immediately after filling out the online form for an agent orange case. Preceded with intake. Was sent email in order to upload paperwork from VA. About a week later I received another email from Sydney asking a good time to call. That was the last time I heard anything from this law office. Her voicemail says you get a callback within one day, not true. The website says if they can't help you they'll help find someone who can, not true. I've called twice and not gotten a returned call. It's been about two month's now. Very poor customer service. The least they could do is return a call and say they don't want your case.

Misleading website. They obviously put a lot of money into their advertising and their website. They are ranked high in Google search, and their website reads so great it gives false hope. On the Veteran link they provide paragraph after paragraph of how Veterans are wronged, but no where does it say they only represent you if you're completely unemployed. Google Maps entry says 24 hours. Called during normal business hours, but didn't get an intake rep call back until the following day.

After starting to provide info 11 min into the call I was informed they would not take my case, but they would refer me out. They only specifically work with completely unemployed veterans, despite I'm not making a living wage, I cannot support myself, and I live with family. I do not need their referral, I called THEM due to their amazing website and all their "positive reviews".

After I had the call, I went back and read the one star reviews. I guess I should've read those first. I also think their responses to the one star reviews are childish and unprofessional. Own up to where you go wrong and make adjustments. You ARE dealing with hurt, angry- in- life, confused, frustrated individuals that had hope when calling your establishment.

Did the online request and was called back within a day or so. After answering initial intake questions on my current VA claims I was informed that the only help they offer is for individuals who are unable to work. That caveat is not listed anywhere on their website and is a little misleading.

Great help in dealing with my VA claim. Even when waiting on the VA to process things, they called and emailed me to let me know where things were at. Would recommend to anyone that has a complicated claim or is appealing a claim.

I had reached out to this law firm a few months ago with my impending NOD (notice of disagreement) date approximately 3 months away. I was looking for help with my next step in the VA disability process. I’m currently 70% SC and looking into TDIU. On their website they boast of free initial consultation, help in general, and possible references to help you with whatever you might need. They also offer a lot informational videos on YouTube that are very helpful in the VA disability process.
Today, 3 days before my last day to file a NOD, I received a call while I was actually working on my NOD. The caller was Kylie Snodgrass, and she was doing a follow up or something. She asked a few personal identification questions then asked if I was working. I said no not really then said well kind of, and she cut me off and said her law firm wasn’t helping anyone with TDIU who was working at all, I said well I’m not working full time or even part time really more just odd jobs I pick up here and there. She asked if it was taxable income, which confused me because is not all income over $600 in a year taxable. She said again that if it’s taxable her attorneys are not helping in that area I said oh, you mean you only help the easy ones and, before I could continue we either got disconnected or she hung up. I called back and left a message hoping we had been disconnected. She was polite but seemed a little annoyed and I explained further my situation about I just had a few questions about my NOD and other TDIU things and if she had time to cold call me maybe she could help, she offered a reference to a partner law firm, at this point I gave up on getting help from her, and said it will be hard to get set up with anyone else since my NOD date is so close. She said she would have someone call me so I asked who so I could know it was their reference and she didn’t have a name and I asked if I could get a number so I could call and she didn’t have it and wouldn’t until later. So, long story long I felt upset by her lack of caring in general. I know everyone has to make their living and maybe because I can do odd jobs for former clients and family my TDIU case is complicated but a little genuine politeness and a little help would have been nice. I’ll be curious to see if this stays on their website. I’ll copy and paste it just in case.

Love the service of Jessica Arnold very professional , but after nine years I got zero 4my Va. Claims. Very very disappointed.

My husband is a disabled veteran and they fought for his 100% judgement. We had to go nowhere from northern indiana and they are in southern indiana. We got prompt callbacks and the office staff were great. If you're a veteran and need help, call them. They ate honest and work hard to get the veteran what they deserve.

Took them a long time to get back to me and when they did all they told me is "we cannot help you" with no real reason. It is my opinion that if they don't feel they can make a lot of money off the back pay of your case then they will not attempt to help you.

*UPDATE* after woods and woods said they couldn't help me with my case i got another attorney and won 100% TDIU if woods and woods tells you they cant help dont get discouraged and make sure you contact a confident attorney who can and will fight for you.

Woods&woods make communication check with every two weeks by email and by phone to see if there any changes in my status and had I received anything from the VA . VA would send me things and I would forward it to Woods&woods .My case worker was Ms Melvin and she was on top of her JOB . If had a question I could email her or call and if out of office or on phone she would back and give me the answer . She was straight forward and tell me let me do my job . Great communicator made if easy with GREAT results $$$
